Endless Love Ceremony with a Disney Touch!

Opening Words

To all who come to this happy place, welcome.  (Walt Disney)

It is with great pleasure that we gather today in the presence of God to witness the joining of two hands, and two hearts in the marriage of Bride and Groom.

Thanking the Guests

On behalf of the Bride and Groom, I thank you for being her today. Your presence here demonstrates your support of their decision to live their lives as husband and wife.

Parents Tribute/ Roses to Mothers

A very special acknowledgement and thank you goes to Bride and Groom’s parents for all the love and support they have given them over the years.

So then, as a sign of their love for their parents,
Bride and Groom would like to offer these roses, to their mothers as symbols of their eternal love.

These Roses are a promise that no matter how far away you are ,you are always in their hearts. Estas rosas simbolizan su promesa de que no importa la distancia entre ustedes ,siempre están en sus corazones.

Message to the Couple

Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale:

It is a tale as old as time, a tale true as can be (Beauty and the Beast). Groom and Bride  started out as high school  friends, They embarked on many adventures together, as time went by it became crystal clear, they had fallen in love, This love opened up a whole new world for them with new horizons to pursue. (Aladdin) Today Groom and Bride begin this new chapter in their storybook. Today they give recognition to the worth and beauty of this love as they become husband and wife.

Bride.. Groom...Marriage is one of God’s most precious gifts.
A good marriage is created by two people who are prepared to put their partner’s needs before their own. They work together for the good of their relationship.
A good marriage has a strong foundation of unconditional support for each other; it is having someone to share your hopes, aspirations, and sorrows of daily life.

Marriage  is a way of life in which two people may provide each other companionship, comfort and most of all love.
Love is listening, understanding and supporting each other.
Love is being completely honest with each other,
It is loyalty through the good and bad.

Reading

Here’s a reading that kind of explains Bride and Grooms love.. It says:

“My Dearest friend, if you don’t mind

I’d like to join you by your side

Where we can gaze into the stars

And sit together, now and forever

For it is plain as anyone can see

We’re simply meant to be”

(The Nightmare before Christmas)

Wedding Vows

You have prepared vows?

The vows you will now take are beautiful words representing even more beautiful intentions. But you will find that as you live these vows over the years,  investing your time and your love and your commitment to one another, the happy times of your life will be twice as joyous, because there will be someone to share those joys with. And when life gets tough, it will only be half as bad, because there will be someone by your side to help carry the burden.

(Bride & Groom will swap papers and read each others vows)

Declaration of Intent

[Carmen:]
Bride and Groom, may I remind you that marriage is a precious gift; a lifelong dedication to love and a daily challenge to love one another more fully and more freely..

[Carmen to Groom]

From this day onward, do you choose Bride to be your wife, your best friend and your only love?
To live together and laugh together;
To work by her side and dream in her arms;
To fill her heart and feed her soul;
To always seek out the best in her;
Always loving her with all your heart, until the end of your forever?
If so, Say, “I do!”

[Carmen to Bride]:

From this day onward, do you choose Groom to be your Husband, your best friend and your only love?
To live together and laugh together;
To work by his side and dream in his arms;
To fill his heart and feed his soul;
To always seek out the best in him;
Always loving him with all your heart, until the end of your forever?
If so, Say, “I do!”

Wedding Rings

With this love begins a new circle of life (Lion King), and to symbolize this new circle, Groom and Bride will exchange rings.

May I please have the rings:

(At this point best man hands Officiant the rings)

The wedding ring is a symbol of eternity. It has no beginning and no end-and so it is with love, love is a song that never ends. Let this ring be a symbol of your never ending love song.

[Carmen to Groom]:  And now as a token of your love and of your deep desire to be forever intertwined in heart and soul, you Groom, may place a ring on the finger of your bride, and as you do, repeat to her, after me, these words:

I give you this ring
(Groom says): I give you this ring

As a symbol of my love
(Groom says): As a symbol of my love

Wear it as a reminder
(Groom says): Wear it as a reminder

That my love is a song
(Groom says): That my love is a song

That never ends
(Groom says): That never ends

[Carmen to Bride]:  And now as a token of your love and of your deep desire to be forever intertwined in heart and soul, you Bride, may place a ring on the finger of your groom, and as you do, repeat to him, after me, these words:

I give you this ring
(Bride says): I give you this ring

As a symbol of my love
(Bride says): As a symbol of my love

Wear it as a reminder
(Bride says): Wear it as a reminder

That my love is a song
(Bride says): That my love is a song

That never ends
(Bride says): That never ends

(*note “that my love is a song that never ends” from Bambi)

Unity Ceremony

Bride and Groom have chosen to include a wine box ritual as part of their wedding ceremony.

In this wooden box they have selected, they will place a bottle of wine and a love letter from each to the other, their wedding vows and a few mementos that remind them of when they first got together.

The letters are sealed in separate envelopes and they have not seen what the other has written.

The letters describe the reasons they first fell in love and for choosing to marry each other today.

Bride and Groom, this box is to be opened on the occasion of your 5th wedding anniversary, the wine enjoyed together, your letters shared and read together.

However, should you find your marriage enduring insurmountable hardships, then open this box together, drink the wine together and read the letters you wrote to one another when you were first united as a couple in marriage.

Bride and Groom, you may now seal the wine box.

Officiant’s Blessing of Marriage

Groom and Bride; as you continue on your journey together, I ask you to remember this advice:

When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably: (Walt Disney) --- ……Believe in this union without reservations.

Make the Best of Every Situation (Cinderella):
…..Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens. A good marriage must be created.

Accept Your Differences (Pocahontas):
……Know that your interests and desires will not always be the same.

Achieving Goals Is Hard Work: (The Princess & the Frog)
…..Celebrate in the accomplishments of one another.

Go after what you want (The Little Mermaid)
…..Have a mutual sense of values and common objectives:  Stand together facing the world.
Bring out each others strengths (Incredibles)
…….notice and celebrate each other’s strengths and ask for help when you need it. Do that, and you’ll make an incredible team.

Listen with your heart: you will understand (Pocahontas):
……Accept one another as an equal and as a unique individual.

Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever (Walt Disney)

May life grant you patience, tolerance and understanding.
