Sweet' n Simple Ceremony Sample 3
This is a Civil English Ceremony with optional Spanish translation of parts that are directed to the guests.
Ceremony is approximately 15-20 minutes.
We come together to celebrate the joining of Bride and Groom in matrimony. They have asked all of you to be present this day and in this beautiful place to witness their vows of union, marriage and love for one another. This ceremony is not to mark the start of a relationship, but to recognize a bond that already exists. This marriage is one expression of many varieties of love. Love is one, though its expressions are infinite.
A good marriage is created by two people who are prepared to put their partner’s needs before their own.
They complement each other as they work together for the good of their relationship.
A long-lasting marriage has a strong foundation of unconditional support for each other;
it is having someone to share your hopes, aspirations, and disappointments with.
(Bride and Groom), although you will be sharing one life, never forget, you are two separate people,
who will sometimes disagree but remember to respect each other’s feelings, needs and wants.
Cherish and affirm your differences.
Love each other.
Value each other.
py and angry, share and grow.
Love and life are always changing and always new but through it “ALL” always remember your commitment to each other.
Happiness in marriage isn’t something that just happens. A good marriage must be created.
It is never being too old to hold hands and not taking one another for granted. It is forming a circle of love that encompasses the whole family. It is doing kind things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice but in the spirit of joy. It is not looking for perfection in one another but cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding, and a sense of humor. It is being close and allowing each other room to grow.
It is not only marrying the right partner but also being the right partner.
Declaration of Intent
The step which you are about to take is the most important into which human beings can come.
It is a union of two people founded upon mutual respect and affection.
Your lives will change, your responsibilities will increase, but your joy will be multiplied if you are sincere and earnest with your pledge to one another.
Do you Groom, take Bride to be your wife, to cherish in friendship and love, to trust and honor her, and to love her faithfully, through the best and the worst, and whatever may come in life’s journey? I do.

Bride and Groom because these rings have neither an end nor beginning, they signify the continuation of true love.
As you place them on your fingers, you give all that you are and ever hope to be. You give them as a symbol of your love.
May these rings always be a reminder that you walk side by side and that you will always be faithful partners.
Bride/Groom as you place the ring upon each others finger, repeat after me:
Bride/Groom, I give you this ring to wear as a symbol of my deepest love, my unending devotion,
my eternal faith and my everlasting fidelity for all the days of my life.
